This Privacy Policy explains how Salamander Coaching Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), trading as Greg Chambers Coaching, collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit gregchambers.coach (the "Site") or engage with our services.

2. The information we collect

  • Information you share during coaching enquiries, intro calls, or coaching sessions.

  • Email address and name if you subscribe to our mailing list.

  • Billing information if you make a purchase or pay for a service (note: payments are processed by third-party providers; we do not store full card details on our systems).

Information collected automatically when you visit the Site:

  • Technical information including IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, and pages visited.

  • Cookie and analytics data, where you have consented to non-essential cookies.

Information from third parties:

  • If you book via a scheduling tool (such as Calendly, GoogleCalendar or similar), we receive the booking details you provide to that tool.

4. Confidentiality of coaching content

Coaching engagements are confidential. The personal information shared during coaching sessions, intro calls, written reflections, or session notes is held in strict confidence and is not disclosed to third parties except:

  • With your explicit consent;

  • Where required by law (for example, a court order, or where there is a serious risk of harm to you or others);

  • Where required by our ethical obligations under the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Code of Ethics.

Session notes, where kept, are stored securely and used only by Greg Chambers for the purpose of the coaching engagement. They are not shared.

5. Who we share your information with

We share personal information only with third parties who help us deliver our services. These include:

  • Squarespace (website hosting and contact form processing) - data is hosted in the US under appropriate transfer safeguards.

  • Email and scheduling providers (e.g. Google Workspace, Calendly, or similar) - used for communications and booking management.

  • Payment processors (e.g. Stripe, PayPal, or similar) - used only when you make a payment. Card data is handled directly by the processor, not by us.

  • Email marketing platforms (e.g. Mailchimp, ConvertKit, or similar) - only if you have opted in to our mailing list.

  • Accountants, bookkeepers, and professional advisors - bound by their own confidentiality obligations.

  • Government and regulatory bodies - where legally required.

We require all third-party providers to handle personal information in line with applicable data protection laws.

6. International data transfers

Some of our service providers are based outside the UK and the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or transfers to countries with an adequacy decision.

  • Withdraw consent: where we rely on consent (e.g. marketing emails), you can withdraw it at any time.
